Stoves For Conservatories – How To Achieve All Year Round Use

A conservatory is not just an extension to your home – it is a whole new way of life. You will suddenly find that not only do you now have the extra living space that you desperately needed, but also the ideal place to relax, entertain or perhaps even a playroom for the kiddies.

However, we all know that many conservatories are used during the summer months only as they can be very cold during the winter months. The perfect solution is a stunning contemporary gas log fire which would be a balanced flue, the terminal need only be 600mm above the roof on a gas flue or a free-standing convector wood-burning stove. Whichever you prefer, Burning Inspirations can plan, design and install the complete solution for your conservatory, ensuring all-year-round use.

Installing a wood burning stove in a conservatory

For the wood burner stoves, it is possible to put the flue through either a PVC or glass roof. It can then be finished in most colours, although black is popular as it blends with any colour scheme. In order for the smoke to draw correctly, the flue length needs to be a minimum 4½m off the floor, though there are other factors which need to be considered. However, our professional installers will ensure that your new fire will be fitted correctly and is the perfect addition to your conservatory.

With such a large range of fires and stoves to choose from, perhaps come and visit our 4500 sq foot showroom in Milton Keynes.

Bring photographs and a floor plan of your conservatory with you and then in no time at all, you will have an extension to your home or business premises, which will be cosy and inviting no matter what the weather.
